Planting Hope, Growing Change
From the heartlands of India to barren landscapes beyond, we have brought over 1.2 Crore trees to life turning dry grounds into thriving forests where people and wildlife flourish together.
Village Tree Plantation Scheme
Under this initiative, the goal is to plant at least 2,000 trees in every village, meaning 2,000 trees per village. In this noble mission, individuals or groups can participate as sponsors.
To ensure proper care and survival of the trees for three years, each village will be provided with the following facilities:
- One tractor
- One water tanker
- One supervisor
- One driver (shared across all villages)
Tree Protection and Maintenance: Per Tree
- Support structure of 4 to 8 feet at the time of plantation
- 8-foot-long iron mesh fencing around the plant for protection
For three years, the total maintenance cost per tree is ₹3,000, which will be shared equally as follows:
- ₹1,500 by the sponsoring village
- ₹1,500 by Sadbhavna Vruddhashram Trust
The name of both sponsors will be displayed on each tree as recognition.
Transparency and Accountability
- Before plantation, the plantation area will be properly surveyed and prepared.
- Each tree will be assigned a unique number, and its photographs will be shared with the sponsor.
- If any tree does not survive within three years, it will be replanted free of cost.
- If the plantation project is discontinued for any reason, the donation amount will be refunded to the sponsor.
This project ensures a reliable water supply through the sponsoring village. With well-planned plantation and long-term tree care, this initiative will create a greener, healthier environment and a sustainable future.

Planting With Tree Guards
Each tree costs ₹3,000 to maintain over 3-4 years, covering all aspects of care. The trees are carefully protected with tree guards, and every stage of their growth is monitored to ensure long-term success.
In 11 years, Sadbhavna has successfully planted over 30 lakh trees with a strong focus on ensuring 100% survival. This achievement has been made possible with a dedicated team of 1,100 staff, 450 tankers, and expert guidance.
Block Plantations
In areas where large blocks of land are available, Sadbhavna undertakes block plantation initiatives. These areas are fenced, and the planting is done using tall seedlings in 1m x 1m x 1m pits.
Equipped with drip irrigation systems, notable projects include the 1111 Billy Van and the 7575 Peepal Van. We contribute significantly to the greening of urban spaces through RMC partnerships.
